Set sail, nakama! After months of waiting at Reverse Mountain, the Log Pose has finally locked on. Netflix’s live-action One Piece is officially back with Season 2, titled "Into the Grand Line," and it’s a whale of a release (shoutout to Laboon).
If you’re looking to catch up on the latest bounty updates and casting news without sifting through the Sea Kings, here is everything you need to know about the current state of the Straw Hat crew.
The Grand Line is Calling
The second season has officially docked on Netflix as of March 10, 2026. While the first season was all about gathering the crew in the East Blue, this 8-episode run is diving headfirst into the Alabasta Saga.
The story picks up right where we left off—the crew is hitting Loguetown before making the climb up Reverse Mountain. From there, it’s a wild ride through Whiskey Peak, the prehistoric giants of Little Garden, and the snowy peaks of Drum Island.
New Faces in the New World
The casting department didn't just cook—they served a five-star Sanji-level meal. Here are the biggest names joining the fray:
The Doctor is In: After much speculation, Mikaela Hoover provides the voice and facial capture for our favorite cotton-candy-loving reindeer, Tony Tony Chopper.
The Villains: The legendary Joe Manganiello has stepped into the golden hook of Sir Crocodile, while Lera Abova brings the mystery as Nico Robin.
The Royal Guest: Charithra Chandran joins the crew as Nefertari Vivi, taking us on the emotional journey to save her kingdom.
The Mentor: In a perfect bit of casting, Katey Sagal portrays the "youthful" Dr. Kureha, bringing some serious gravitas to Drum Island.
What’s Next? (Slight Spoilers Ahead!)
The show is currently filming in Cape Town, South Africa, but they aren't stopping at the snowy shores of Drum Island. Netflix has already greenlit Season 3, which is expected to dive deep into the desert heat of the Alabasta Kingdom.
Word on the street is we might see Xolo Maridueña sporting the signature orange hat of Portgas D. Ace very soon, and honestly? We’re ready to set the world on fire.
Keep your eyes on the horizon and your Jolly Roger flying high. This adaptation is proving that the "Will of D" is very much alive and well.
